In the production of coal gasification syngas, high temperature and high pressure fly ash filter is needed to remove impurities from crude syngas. Fracture of filter element often occurs in production, which affects the normal operation of production. The high temperature and high pressure fly ash filter is optimized by installing a safety filter element to ensure the secondary purification of the outlet syngas and the long period of coal gasification production is stable.
The crude syngas from the gasifier with solid dust (pressure 4.0 MPa, temperature 340 C) is sent to the main board through the bottom feed pipe and riser of the high temperature and high pressure fly ash filter. Then through the micropore on the wall of the ceramic filter core, it enters the filter core. The filtered syngas enters the upper part of the container from the bottom to the top, and then passes through the upper gas outlet pipe of the container to the wet cleaning process. The dust entrained in the crude syngas gathers on the outer wall of the ceramic filter core, and the dust gathered on the outer wall of the ceramic filter core becomes filter cake. These filter cakes will be removed by a clean N2 pulse. This periodically clean N2 pulse device is called reverse blowing system. In general, the back-blown gas flows downstream and enters the filter element. The filter cake on the outer wall of the ceramic filter element is blown through the micro-hole on the wall of the ceramic filter element. Finally, the filter cake falls into the ash bucket at the lower part of the container under the action of N2 back-blown, and is discharged through the fly ash outlet tube.
The filter is used to remove impurities from syngas. The filtration of syngas and the backblow cleaning of filter element are carried out simultaneously. Under the worst operating conditions, the maximum pressure drop through filter cake is about 30 kPa, and the initial pressure drop through filter element is about 1 kPa. During the operation, the pressure drop quickly stabilized to 2 kPa. When the pressure drop of filter element is increased to 4kPa after backblowing cleaning, that is, when the pressure drop of filter element through ceramic filter reaches its maximum value, the service life of filter element is terminated. Ceramic filter element cleaning and back-blowing cleaning is on-line cleaning, while several filter elements can be back-blowing cleaning, so ceramic filter elements are arranged in groups, a total of 24 groups, each group has 48 ceramic filter elements, each filter element is 1.0m long, arranged according to triangular spacing. The spacing of the filter element is 100 mm, leaving enough space for the cake.
